how to import the oracle stored procedure using the odbc connection in sas.

where we can pass the parameter's to the stored procedure.

i need the basic code connecton for the procedure

Okay, than try this code

 

proc sql;
connect to odbc as oracledb
(datasrc="yourDSN" user=xxxx password=xxxx);

create table work.test_dataset as
select *
from connection to oracledb
(
execute schema.oracleStoredProcedure
@Param1 = 'value1',
@Param2 = 'value2',
@Param3 = 333;
);
quit;

Please note that you need  SAS/Access to ODBC or SAS/Access to Oracle license to execute oracle stored process.
