We are moving everything to SAS grid server from PC-SAS, SSRS, SSIS etc., to have a centralized repository of all programs, reports etc., in one place for the entire team.

We have some phone data from Avaya which comes from IBM Informix 2000 server. It works in PC-SAS with ODBC connection and a local OpenLink driver installation. However, when SAS admins try this connection they told us they could not establish this connection in the server. I am positive it is possible in the server side. I want to provide the admins some additional steps they could try.

If anyone has already established a connection from SAS grid to IBM Informix 2000 server, could you please provide some details?

Thanks much.

So specifically what steps have they gone through? This article explains what is required:

For starters is SAS/ACCESS to ODBC installed on your SAS Application Servers and is currently licensed?
