Dear All,

Please help me that whether it is possible to write a program in such a way that some new observations can be written to freed space in compressed SAS Datasets ? If yes, kindly share the info.

I got the solution. Used COMPRESS=YES along with REUSE=YES.

Hi,

Your wuery is not clear.

Yuo want the compressed dataset to be added with one another observation?

You can add the observation in dataset and then can compress again.
