Hi all,
I'm from Brazil and Portuguese language has some features like Circumflex and importing a Text Data SAS doens't recognize them.
Is there anyway to fix that ?
I tried this,
data WORK.temp ;
%let _EFIERR_ = 0; /* set the ERROR detection macro variable */
informat VAR1 $1. ;
informat VAR2 $1. ;
format VAR1 $1. ;
format VAR2 $1. ;
input
VAR1 $
VAR2 $
;
if _ERROR_ then call symputx('_EFIERR_',1); /* set ERROR detection macro variable */
cards;

Is it feasible to read in your data like this?;
