I have a case open with HP regarding the 'extract' command which does *not* extract only yesterday's configuration data as documented:

extract -xp D-1 -c -f /tmp/yesterday_only.txt
does not export yesterday's configuration data only.

This has resulted in many duplicate configuration records in one of our ITRM tables.

Could someone please provide some sample code, using cpedit and cpdupchk perhaps, showing how to remove these duplicate records by DATETIME?

Appears the macro used may be version-specific, possibly %CPDUPCHK or %RMDUPCHK. Have a look at the DOC reference below. Also, I noticed a HOTFIX also mentioned - suggest using SEARCH on SAS support website http://support.sas.com/ to locate the SAS tech note with the details on the problem/solution.
