Dear,
In my data, a variable name 'Totaldailydose' contain numbers and text. I need to convert the numbers only into numeric form in my output.
ID Totaldose
1 EVERY 3 YEARS
2 1 DEVICE EVERY FIVE YEARS
3 1
4 900
5 2000
6 300
7 UNKNOWN
OUTPUT needed;
ID Totaldose
3 1
4 900
5 2000
6 300
my code worked but gave me some warning messages. Please help. Thanks
totaldose= input(totaldoailydose,best.);
If all you want to do is suppress the warning messages about invalid data, a double question mark will do the trick:
totaldose= input(totaldoailydose,??best.);
