Hi folks,
does somone know how to transfer (FTP?) a pure excel sheet to mainframe?
What is lrecl and blksize of mainframe file?
I have a proc import on PC to read the "sheets" that works fine !
I would like to do this on mainframe.

What exact process do you wish to perform on the "mainframe"? I believe that PROC IMPORT is not supported by SAS running on IBM's z/OS MVS system.

You will want to consider converting your pure XLS file to a CSV-format file and use a DATA step to create a SAS file.
