I have issues, where sometimes I submit a job and it'll error out, even though the code is fine. Hit submit again and everything runs fine.
Does anyone know why this occurs? And a workaround?
Desktop is SAS 9.2
Server is also 9.2
First time:
184 rsubmit;
NOTE: Remote submit to SERVER commencing.
506 proc sql;
ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.
507 select count(*) from MY_TABLE.TABLE;
------
180
508 quit;
Second time:
186 rsubmit;
NOTE: Remote submit to SERVER commencing.
509 proc sql;
510 select count(*) from MY_TABLE.TABLE;
511 quit;
NOTE: The PROCEDURE SQL printed page 1.
NOTE: PROCEDURE SQL used (Total process time):
real time 6:21.47
cpu time 0.03 seconds
Probably something from the previous submission hanging out (a missing semicolon, who knows?).
