Re: Error in PUT function

And what information are you missing?

This is the error:

ERROR: Character format $ in PUT function requires a character argument.

This is one of the places it refers to:

put(20180630,$10.)

20180630 is a number, therefore you need to put() it into a numeric format:

put(20180630,8.) as KNDTOPD length = 10,
