Error Openning the SAS Dataset that is converted from an XML file

[ Edited ]

Hi!

I have this script to view the XML file in SAS (I am using SAS 9.4):

filename ClientDe 'C:\Desktop\Sample1\ClientDetails.xml';
filename SXLEMAP 'C:\Desktop\Sample1\sample.map';
libname ClientDe xmlv2 xmlmap=SXLEMAP ;

/*
* Catalog
*/

proc datasets lib=ClientDe; run;

/*
* Contents
*/

proc contents data=ClientDe.queryResponse varnum; run;
proc contents data=ClientDe.entity varnum; run;
proc contents data=ClientDe.clientDetailsDTO varnum; run;

/*
* Printing
*/

title 'Table queryResponse';
proc print data=ClientDe.queryResponse(obs=10); run;
title;

title 'Table entity';
proc print data=ClientDe.entity(obs=10); run;
title;

title 'Table clientDetailsDTO';
proc print data=ClientDe.clientDetailsDTO(obs=10); run;
title;

/*
* Local Extraction
*/

DATA queryResponse; SET ClientDe.queryResponse; run;
DATA entity; SET ClientDe.entity; run;
DATA clientDetailsDTO; SET ClientDe.clientDetailsDTO; run;

But when openning the datasets the following error occured and cannot open it.

ERROR:

The open data operation failed . The following error occured. [Error] File CLientDTO.DATA is sequential. This task requires reading observations in random order, but the engine allows only sequential access.

What does this mean? And how am I able to open the datasets?

Thank you!

Re: Error Openning the SAS Dataset that is converted from an XML file

You have an error on CLientDTO but this name appears nowhere in your program. So it seems that the code provided doesn't match the question.
