Hi,

I have a data file containing a character variable named "participant_id". I designed the id to indicate the source of data like id starting with 100... is from source A, 200... from source B etc. Now I want a delete the observations of a certain source. How can I do this?

Thanks in advanced.

set have;
if substr(participant_id,1,3) ="100" then delete;
