How can I access SAS 9.2 using JDBC connection?

I have installed the jdbc drivers for Windows  but I don't know where they can be found on the file system and how they can be called by a third party tool.

What ports are required to be opened?

What is the JDBC syntax to access SAS (Metadata server ?)

Thank you!

You can only make a jdbc connection if your site has SAS/Share licensed and setup.

Thanks for this hint but my question was quite different...

Take a look at the JDBC Cookbook for syntax and examples of using the drivers.  Can you give more specific details of what you are trying to accomplish, otherwise cannot provide specific help.
