Hi,

I tried to open  up a 'X' windows session to my base SAS. I get the below error in the AUTO EXEC process.

error: Unable to locate  MIDBServer. Please confirm server name.

Note: Variable DI_DM is unintialized.

ERROR: Library assignment failed.

ERROR: Libname DI_DM is not assigned.

ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

ERROR: Libname DI_DM2 is not assigned.

ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

ERROR: Libname DI_DATA is not assigned.

ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

ERROR: Libname DI_DATA is not assigned.

ERROR: Libname DI_DATA is not assigned.

ERROR: Libname DI_DATA is not assigned.

NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.

NOTE: PROCEDURE SQL used (Total process time):

      real time           0.00 seconds

      cpu time            0.00 seconds

ERROR: undefined di_trans_vendor=

I would say that you have libraries on a server, MIDBServer, that was not available for  some reason. You need to verify name and/or connection to that server. Without actual code from your Autoexec then I can't suggest much more.

The error is figured out, it is due to that I had logged in as 'sas' instead of mietlusr.
