What kind of data sources can you govern?

Rule of thumb: Any data source you can point to via a LIBNAME or a CASLIB. Here is a list of supported file types for CASLIBs. Here is a link to documentation on data access where there is information about supported databases etc.

How do I get SAS Information Governance?

It is bundled with some of the SAS Viya packages, but can also be additionally licensed, even if you only have SAS Visual Analytics. Please speak to your account executive for the details on what you’ve already purchased or are interested in purchasing.

Are all the features/capabilities you demonstrated part of the SAS Information Governance license?

Everyone gets Information Catalog with basic capabilities. The advanced ones you license. Here is an overview of the capabilities for basic and advanced (licensed) capabilities.

Does the integration of the information catalog with Viya come with Viya 4?

Yes, it does. Viya 4 is where you get all the new data management capabilities.
