Did you know that you could use a SAS program to list (and even stop) the active SAS sessions in your environment? You can -- by using PROC IOMOPERATE.
This utility procedure allows you to connect to the SAS Object Spawner (with proper credentials) to review the spawned SAS sessions and their attributes. I've described the technique in this blog post:
