The following SAS Global Forum paper might be of some help:

http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings14/SAS105-2014.pdf

For example, if you're just provisioning Enterprise Guide and/or Add-in for Microsoft Office, you'd be well-served to explore the standalone installers delivered in your SAS Software Depot.  There are several methods described that work for these and other products and additional Recommended Reading references at the end.  It also has a section covering subsetting SAS Software Depots.

Hello,

the SAS paper that is provided above is a very popular one, something to keep in mind, specially from a strategical point of view.

SAS also provides the facility to make deployments with responsefiles, to execute quiet installations/updates on the clients and servers.
