Re: SAS 9.2 Installation error

Mahesh,

The:

------

An error [-5006 : 0x8070020] has occurred while running the setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications.

If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: SAS Institute Inc..

------

Can either mean that a previous setup.exe really is still running or that you did not start this installation as a Windows Administrator.

Re: SAS 9.2 Installation error

What version of Windows?

Also, unless required to stick with 9.2 you should get a newer install, the latest is SAS 9.4TS1M4

9.2 is Ancient

Re: SAS 9.2 Installation error

Which Windows version is this?

Make sure you have all other applications (and that means ALL) stopped, and have any anti-virus software temporarily disabled. If in doubt, reboot, turn off anti-virus, and then try again.
