Is it possible to have Metadata Server on Windows and SASApp Server on UNIX ?

Yes. You will need to consider how the users authenticated via the metadata server on Windows (most commonly host authenticated via Active Directory) will be provided access to SAS Workspace Servers on the UNIX/Linux server. Common options include SAS Token Authentication, so the SAS processes run as a service account (e.g. sassrv), or configuring the UNIX/Linux server to also authenticate against Active Directory too (to support running the SAS processes as the requesting user).

But in the case when SAS UNIX and SAS Windows both have own Metadata Servers - it seems they will not able to operate normally?

Hmmm what do you mean by normally?
In a scenario where you have metadata server on both hosts, they are considered as separate environments. Please describe your architecture in Moore detail to avoid the answers given to you just being confusing.
