Hello
We have an issue with a user authenticating to VIya4. The Browser is Microsoft edge
When the user tries to login for the first time, the following message comes after the credentials are input

thesasuser_0-1729084701698.png

When the user opens a new browser tab and tries connecting to SAS Studio, the user is automatically logged in.
Wondering what the explanation for this could be.
Any thoughts?

@thesasuser I have seen something similar already. What is your version of SAS Viya ? Are you on-prem (Upstream K8S/OpenShift), cloud ? do you authenticate against an LDAP server or Active Directory ? Is the Postgres Server (SAS Infrastructure Data Server) internal out of the box (Crunchy Data) or external ?

As @JuanS_OCS said, you are strongly advised to open a track with SAS Technical Support to address your issue.

Hi there,

as I see it, there could be a number of reasons this might be happening, which is hard to know just from this.
I would say there is something related to how your single sign on is configured all around. I would start by looking at the logs in your browers and the identities pods, or  just contact SAS Technical Support.

Hi @thesasuser ,

did you reach out to SAS Tech Support, is there progress?

Also, if you need our support, please do provide the information.

Please do note that low effort replies will bring you probably around the same or less.
