Hi there,

I'm hoping that someone can point me to a resource outlining the changes/improvements between PC SAS 8.2 and 9.  I'm particularly interested in backwards compatibility, and any changes that we'd have to make to code written in 8.2 to ensure it runs smoothly in 9.  We have most modules installed (I think SAT/TUTOR is the only one we don't have).

Any help greatly appreciated!

A seaarch for

what's new in sas 9

will give you more than you want to know.

http://support.sas.com/documentation/whatsnew/91x/

Then you can follow that with

what's new in sas 9.2

and 9.3

Thanks, I've been looking through this.  I was hoping to find a list of PROCs, formats etc. that are no longer supported, does anyone know of anywhere I can find this?  Am I stuck with just reading through the SAS9 release notes for mentions of changes to or withdrawal of support?

Thanks,

Mickey

That's what the 'changes and enhancements' section does.  My recollection is that there weren't any procedures that were dropped, but there were a lot that were changed.

Maybe this link would be more to what you were looking for
