Hi Team,

Is there a mechanism through SAS Viya Environment manager through which we can enable alerts if the service goes down and admins are alerted for the same via email alerts.

I'm not aware of such functionality in Viya's Environment Manager. Documentation on the monitoring functions available in Viya can be found in the link below:

SAS Viya 3.5 Administration: Logging and Monitoring - Monitoring: Overview

https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/calcdc/3.5/calmonitoring/p1awg41ke4vcv7n0z8jzv9tqakx5.htm

The sas-admin CLI does have a healthcheck plugin that could be helpful to monitor these:

SAS Viya process monitoring with the healthcheck plug-in

You could schedule execution of this and send an email based on the output.
