It can be permission issue,the user what you are using to register the view may not have permissions.

Check directly in SAP with the same user you are trying to register in metadata has access to view the views?

I guess you are using summary table wizard(or any other tasks) from task menu,in that case there will be an option to store the results in sas dataset while you are creating the HTML output.

Installing SAS services without reconfiguring

Hi Team,

We have multiple server architecture like meta/app/etl/web servers.Due to some reason ETL server is down and Operating system has been re installed recently,but SAS configuration still exists.

Now the issue is we need to re install and reconfigure the ETL server completely,but will this effect any other servers?

or we can only install SAS and as configuration directory already exists can we only configure Services(like object spawner,connect and workspace server) which are required?

we don't have back up of response files used for install/configuring the ETL server .

Are they any alternative approach or best approach to get rid of this issue.

SAS version : 9.2M3

Windows 64 bit O/S

Hi Jason,

First one: You can deploy you stored process in Stored process portlet and run from SAS information delivery portal.

For Second: users who does not require login, for this you need to enable Unchallenged Portal Access(this helps in not providing the login screen for the users)

for more information about Unchallenged Portal Access (you need to read WEB application administration guide->Implementing Unchallenged Portal Access.

Select the column and go to data->hide/unhide

you can also do this in SAS EG

Select Data -> Rows or Columns -> Hide.

Yes you can use proc printto to save the sas log.
