In addition to the doc links that @Madelyn_SAS provided, there's a SAS Global Forum 2019 paper that explains how to use the CLI (command line interface) to localize reports into multiple languages. See What’s New for Report Localization in SAS® Visual
Analytics. (The paper focuses on the 8.3 release, but should also apply to later releases.)

Yes, the feature of exporting from SAS Visual Analytics to an Excel workbook has been available starting in the 2020.1.1 stable release (in December 2020) for SAS Viya. If you prefer a long-term support release for SAS Viya, the feature is available in 2021.1 (May 2021). I'm sorry, but there's not a way to reset all filters at once in any current release of SAS Visual Analytics in SAS Viya (including the 2020.1.4 version that was made available in March 2021). You can submit it as in idea via the SAS Software Ballot.

Hi @adupendse26,

I'm sorry, but the social media data connectors no longer work with SAS Viya for a variety of reasons. That's why you're seeing an error message when you try to import Google Analytics data into SAS Visual Analytics 8.5.

There was a recent SAS Viya 3.5 hotfix that removed the Twitter and Facebook data options for a similar failure. Refer to SAS Note 65602 for the details. An upcoming hotfix for SAS Viya 3.5 will remove all of the remaining data connectors, including Google Analytics.

If you still want to import data from Google Analytics, we recommend that you use a third-party tool to extract the data before importing it into SAS Visual Analytics.

Unfortunately, there's not a feature that enables you to indent values in cells in a crosstab.

I'm not sure which version of SAS Visual Analytics you're using when you say "current" because there are multiple releases being used by customers right now. However, display rules (which you cross referenced in the other post from 2016) are available in the 8.x releases (in SAS Viya) and the 7.x releases (on SAS 9.4). You can create them using the Display Rules pane (on the right side by default).

I'm sorry the click and drag steps in the Actions Diagram don't work like you're used to. Were you able to move the objects once you got that to work? I know that doesn't fully meet your request, but I hope that it helps some.

I was using Chrome when I tested actions the other day. What browser are you using?

I'm not sure what to tell you about getting the feature for incoming actions reinstated, except to say that you can request it via the SAS ballot.

Hi @mattneo,

The Actions Diagram feature is working as expected in the 8.3.1 and later releases on SAS Viya. I confirmed with a developer that the design was changed for SAS Visual Analytics on SAS Viya to show only outgoing actions.

You can move objects in the Actions Diagram. When you select an object in the Actions Diagram, a black outline is displayed and the pointer changes. You can then drag the object to a new position in the Actions Diagram.

Our goal is to try to achieve more consistency with "What's New" content across SAS products. (For example, some products don't have both a high-level and a detailed list of new features like SAS Visual Analytics.) That's why I really want to hear about how customers, like you, are using the What's New lists.

I don't know yet if there'll be changes in the What's New content across products. However, in November, I'll share what I learn from the Community with the team that's looking at What's New content.

From the UI, the administrator can't hide other tiles like Favorites. However, there are some administration settings for the home page, like setting guest access. For information about roles, capabilities, and configuration properties for the home page, see pgs 70-73 in the SAS Visual Analytics 7.3: Administration Guide (PDF).

Hi Ashish,

Unfortunately, you can't hide the Welcome tile for all users in the 7.x releases. Individual users can hide the Welcome tile using the three dots in the upper right and selecting Hide.

An administrator can share links with users and hide shared links in 7.x. However, they can't hide links that individual users have added.
