Hi,

The scenario code which you are seeing is the part of SAS Data Step (SET statement inside it). This scenario code is being called in datastep as explained in previous comments.

I can only tell, this is typically the SAS AML design of writing scenario codes by using SAS Arrays, SAS Hash and SAS Hash Hiter programming. More information can be found in SAS AML user's guide.

Hi Swapna,

I also faced this problem. There is nothing to do with data size of SNA nodes and links tables. Even if you zoom the network diagram (with 3 nodes and 3 links), it will change its direction.

After I zoom, I used to press "-" and "+" to go to specific nodes. It is very tedious task to do it. But I don't have any other option.

Swapna, Have to ever used proc optgraph or Network statistical measures like communities and so on.

Please let me know your inputs.

Thanks for the quick response...I just removed it and it is working fine now...Do you think we can use SAS Language within the R Interface...I whould like to use SAS Language within SUBMIT and ENDSUBMIT block while using R language...

Calling R Language Statement from SAS IML

Hi All,

I am trying to call R language statement by using "PROC IML" in Base SAS 9.4...

I have SAS IML Studio 14.1, SAS/IML 14.1 and R 3.2.2/R 3.2.3 and also set the following in configration file of SAS...

-RLANG
-SET R_HOME "<C:\Program Files\R\R-3.2.2>"

Still I am getting following error in Base SAS...

ERROR: SAS could not initialize the R language interface.
ERROR: An installed version of R could not be found.

When I tried to call R language statement in SAS IML Studio, it works fine...

I need to call R from Base SAS Proc IML not from SAS IML Studio...

But can anyone suggest how to read the data directly from the above link...Please note that data is not saved in file format...It is just displayed in link and i want to read from that...

KEY = Option in MODIFY Statement to update DBMS Table

Hi,

I tried to update the DBMS Table by using following LIBNAME statement...based on my knowledge if we want to user KEY= option on DBMS Table then reread_exposure=yes must be set...In below example, Index is already created on PK variable, so i can directly use it in KEY= option...

my_data.test contains one record and i need to update the table based on following data...

But i am getting following error...

ERROR: No key variables have been defined for file test.

ERROR: ROLLBACK issued due to errors for data set TEST.test.DATA.

Yes S K you are ri8...I knew that one too...Every Datamart contains year information for Customer Level data.....

This is just sample code...User can easily manipulate through this code on the basis of year information...

Hi,

Here is my try based on previous comments...

I tried to fully automate the process but unfortunately, SAS is not supporting Macro Variable creation in DIR Command of FILENAME Statement...otherwise it will be very easy to automate...

So as you said you are having 700 Folders, what you can do, you can simply copy and paste the path in following code where i mentioned the comments...It's not tedious task...

After that %FILES_IMPORT Macro will automatically append all the files in a folder and create the SAS dataset based on the folder name...

Can you please let us know the naming conventions of .TXT files within each of the folders...And if you are saying that you want to create the SAS Dataset with the name of folder name so my question is like:

If i have 10 .txt files in folder 2011-08-15_2011-08-15 and if i created one SAS Dataset with name of 2011-08-15 so it is like this dataset should include all 10 .txt files or you want separate dataset with each .txt files...

You can easily achive this task once you fix the naming conventions of .txt files and you want separate dataset for folder wise or file wise...

This snippet i developed where i have not considered Delimeter facility so by default it will put space between the variables as delimeter...
