Time out error in deployment of SAS Viya within Azure infrastructure

Hello,

We are trying to deploy SAS Viya (PAYG) application into our Azure cloud, post deployment, we get the following error message:

BTW, we are using the East Asia Zone and seems like following conditions are also satisfied:

Total Regional vCPUs: 64
Standard DSv4: 44
Standard EDSv4: 20

The deploy could fail for various reasons, curious if you are able to see what release of Viya is being used? I ran a deploy internally for 2025.02 and it deployed successfully. If you have part of the logs in the deployment storage account and share where it got stuck, that can help us figure out.

Sometimes microsoft network issues could cause it to fail, and deleting old deployment and starting a re-deploy may help.

In the activity log, all steps show successful.

We ran the deployment more than 10 times till now, all other errors were resolved, only the above error is pending, we deleted old deployments, started new deployments but this error is not going away. It runs close to 2 hours and then fails; those details can be seen in the operation details attached here.

Sorry to hear it failed, we need more info on the failures. Are there any info available if you go to the failed deployment and check for any errors there or if you have any activity logs related to the failed deployment? It may have a reason for the timeout.

Sometimes the 'Resource quota limit exceeded' could be the reason, in that case try to increaase the quota. Alternatively, you can try deploying in another region like eastus and see if that works.

If we know the reason (from the failed deployment logs) for time exceeded that would help. Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks again for your response and questions. The quota and all other errors are resolved. Only error we see is "Timed Out". There are no logs with any kind of errors to display, all logs say "Accepted" or "Succeeded", so we are unable to share any log details.

The application is also working at our end, we are able to navigate within the application, its just the Time out error, that does not seem to go away.
