&lt;P&gt;The recommended prerequisites are:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="xsmall-txt-light"&gt;Before attending this course, you should have experience with SAS programming basics and data manipulation techniques, as well as familiarity with SQL processing. You can gain this experience by completing &lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/edu/schedules.html?crs=PROG1&amp;amp;source=aem" target="_blank"&gt;SAS Programming 1: Essentials&lt;/A&gt;, &lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/edu/schedules.html?crs=PROG2&amp;amp;source=aem" target="_blank"&gt;SAS Programming 2: Data Manipulation Techniques &lt;/A&gt;and &lt;A href="https://support.sas.com/edu/schedules.html?crs=SQL1&amp;amp;source=aem" target="_blank"&gt;SAS SQL 1: Essentials&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;courses.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

If you haven't taken those courses I would expect 6 months to several years of experience would be needed depending on how much time you spend with SAS and the complexity of tasks completed. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
