topic PROC PSMATCH in Statistical Procedures

Hello fellow SAS users. We are trying to use proc psmatch to match about 200 samples in a group with samples in two other groups. However, whenever we run it, SAS shuts down completely. Any ideas to troubleshoot this issue? TIA for any suggestions.

Please try to provide the code first.
Also, it is better if you have some data or data set that can reproduce the situation, even if it is sample data. Even a masked version of the data is fine.

Also, if SAS is down and you can't verify the error, it would be better to remove all PROC PSMATCH options first and then check which option is affecting the error one by one.

Hi Kawasaki. Thank you for responding to my question. I unsuccessfully tried to share code and data and was blocked by IT.

However, the problem turned out to be with some MS update and the proc worked just fine. I can’t explain why, but that did the trick. Best, Abi

Even though I don't know the cause of the problem, I'm glad that the problem has been solved for now.
It is understandable that IT would block you from providing code and data.
