topic Proc KDE in Statistical Procedures

I have been using PROC KDE successfully for quite some time for geospatial analysis, but recently received an error while processing the BIVAR statement:

Error: LATITUDE has too small of a range or the grid size is too large

I am using a max and min latitude as well as longitude for the BIVAR statement. I have adjusted the NGRID value up and down as well as the latitude range, always resulting in the same error.

Does anyone have any insight into this error?

I think I found the problem. The range error was referring to the data itself--it appears for some datasets, all of the coordinates (latitude and longitude) are the same. Proc kde apparentle requires a range of different coordinates in order to function properly.
