Yes you can check for interaction between a continuous and categorical variable, though its slightly harder to interpret the results.

Hi all,

I am new to Statistics.

Please help. Can I check for interaction between a categorical variable and a continous variable.

For example, age-continous (1-100) and treatment-categorical(1, 2, 3)?

Thanks in advance,

Yra!
