I'm looking for software that will calculate power and sample sizes for a matched case control study. Any suggestions?

The SAS Power and Sample Size procedures will do that. There is a nice interface in 9.2. You can also use Russ Lenth's web site ( http://www.stat.uiowa.edu/~rlenth/Power/ ).

The sample size computation for a matched case-control study can be done with a one-sample test where the effect-size is the difference between the two groups.
