topic help interpreting interaction of 2 dichotomous variables with effect coding in Statistical Procedures

Does anyone have a reference that gives step by step directions on how to interpret an interaction with effect coding. There is lots of material out there on how to do it with reference group/dummy coding, but nothing detailed on effect coding. I'm particularly interested in the context of logistic or survival models, although it is probably not much different. The two variables involved in the interaction need only have 2 levels like male/female interacted with older/younger or something like that. Thank you.
