Microbreweries in DC worth visiting ?

Last year (in Dallas) we found a bunch of great microbreweries in Deep Ellum like Deep Ellum Brewery and Braindead Brewing, and i was wondering if anybody has any recommendations on where to go for a similar experience in Washington ?

Hi there - too funny, I was actually at Braindead Brewery in Deep Ellum on Sunday. They had awesome food.

I'm from the Northern Virginia originally before relocating to Raleigh. Here are some of my favorites to frequent when I travel home:

Right Proper

Red Bear Brewing

District ChopHouse

Bluejacket

Atlas BrewWorks

There are so many, but the great part is that most little restaurants all around the city have been there for years and serve awesome brews whether it's a brewery or not 🙂
