I would add this tip. Download the mobile app. It is a great resource to guide you through the conference and connect with other attendees. BTW, the app will be available in mid-March so you can make the connections before you even get to Vegas.

I would agree with 'volunteering' as a good way to meet other users.

First Timers,

Another great place to hang out is the Demo Room. You can get live demos of all types of SAS products and solutions there, as well as meet SAS Press authors and browse their books. Also, there are usually chocolates and other small treats around:-).

Just so there is no confusion, the Quad is what was once the demo room. You remember the Quad at college? That central place on campus where you go for just about everything? That's the Quad at SASGF.

Thanks for the clarification! I read the article and did not get it that the Quad was what was once called the Demo Room. But, I did get the "college quad" reference nonetheless!

I'm on the Apple App Store and can't seem to find the App - only SGF2012? What's the name of the app?
