topic How to save layout of WRS report when underlying resources are changed? in SAS Web Report Studio

Folks,

Because of some changes made to the cube caused the removal of a hierarchy which nows does not allow me to open my .srx file anymore(even update resource doesnot fix it!)..

In such cases is there a possibility for me to somehow save/reuse the report minus the corrupted hierarchy? There has been considerable amount of time spent in the general layout and stuff can I save at least some parts of this report?

Thanks in advance
Usual Question. Version... Assuming an Old version

May be able to use maintenance/repair which is a feature in 4.2/4.3

Cheers
K,
I have been successful in adding the 'missing' hierarchy back to the cube to open the WRS report back up. Then remove the element from WRS, save the report, and remove from the cube to have everything working again & back in-line.

Also - if you are opening the Information Map of the Cube - you can use the Resource Replacement wizard (in 9.2) to ensure that the hierarchy maps to something. But the WRS report will likely continue to be broken until it maps to the hierarchy successfully.
Indeed I had to get it back into the cube and then remove it from the WRS. Thanks angela!
