The Office Add-In connects to either a workspace server which can only serve tables/views and run tasks or the OLAP server which serves the cubes (which are the base for web reports). AFAIK, the linking functionality is in the WRS webapp which is not accessed by the Add-In.

I guess you just import the (raw) cube with the Add-In.

I have created a report with the report Linking functionality. When I import the report through excel addins I am unable to see the links in the report fro navigation.

Let me know if there are any ways I could retain the linking functionality through excel addin...?
