I just added the following information in the sas-bi blog. (http://sas-bi.blogspot.com/2009/10/shared-cascading-prompts.html)

On page 15 (example 6) of the paper: http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/sgf09/355-2009.pdf, there are details on how to create a group of prompts and share it at the group level.

how to use shared prompt as cascading prompt?

Hello

Can anybody tell me, in WRS 9.2, how to use shared prompt as cascading prompt?
I have created shared prompts in SMC 9.2 and based on that I tried to create cascading prompt in WRS. example: two shared prompts dept and sub dept were created. In WRS,using these two prompts, I tried to create cascading prompt by defining dependencies between them. When I am trying to view report by selecting values from drop down dept input, sub dept dropdown is blank.
So I was wondering if there any other way to use shared prompt as cascading?

Any help?

Thanks in advance.
