topic How to identify the all the data items used in a report in SAS Web Report Studio

As we learn more about EBI we improve our processes.
Sometimes this leaves us with information maps that have data items that are no longer used in the web report they are linked to.
Deleting an item that is used in a web report is often fatal to the report.
However, because of things like the ability to rename data items in the report and build custom calculations, determining exactly which data item is used is almost impossible.
Does anyone have any method to see the dependent data items?

Check out the SAS BI Lineage Plug-in, it's described in the SAS Presents paper on pg8: http://www2.sas.com/proceedings/forum2008/289-2008.pdf. This paper also details step-by-step instructions on how to remove data elements from the information map.

Hope this helps!
Thanks for the help Angela. However I guess I left out the fact we have 9.2. That plugin is not available in 9.2, I have heard rumor that it will be back in the next version.
