schedule the running of a SAS VA report

I know how to set up a schedule for the running of a SAS VA query using Data Preparation and the Scheduler icon (looks like a clock), but I need to schedule the running of a report, not a query. Is that possible? If yes, please share the path - which screen gets you to the scheduler in the design report tab? I am working with SAS VA 7.4

You can schedule report distribution via email to a specified list of recipients. That is the only scheduling available for reports. In Visual Analytics Designer, select File > Distribute. You first create a job, and then you set your time-event for distribution.

Will the report be run freshly when the recipient of the email clicks on the link to the report?

When the user clicks the link in the email, the most current copy of the report is displayed.

However, the PDF in the distributed email is a static view that reflects the state of the report at the time that the PDF was generated. You cannot exclude the PDF from the distributed email. However, if the PDF is always greater than 1 mg, then you might be able to modify the property that limits the size of the PDF so that Visual Analytics strips the file from the email. The va.distribution.email.attachment.mb property is discussed in the Visual Analytics Admin Guide under Suite-Level Properties..
