    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://communities.sas.com/people/MichelleH"&gt;Michelle&lt;/A&gt;, thanks for asking about plans for this capability to support data driven hyperlinks in tables in a future VA release.&amp;nbsp; I spent some time with R&amp;amp;D to find out if there is a workaround today, and I apologize for the delay.&amp;nbsp; &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://communities.sas.com/people/LucyLuo"&gt;Lucy&lt;/A&gt;, if I understand correctly, you need a way to have complete URLs based on a column in your source table that will navigate report consumers to those URLs when clicked.&amp;nbsp; &lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;There is no reliable workaround for this in VA 7.1.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;SAS plans to include this in a future release – however, it will not be in the imminent 7.2 release.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As you likely know, VA 6.2 and higher support external links via URL from report objects.&amp;nbsp; The capability currently is designed where a portion of the URL must be static, such as &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.twiter.com/"&gt;http://www.twiter.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, and the final portion of the URL can be data driven.&amp;nbsp; The first part of the URL is provided by the report author and it is required.&amp;nbsp; For instance, you could simply enter &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;www&lt;/STRONG&gt; or &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www/"&gt;http://www&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Note that the &lt;STRONG&gt;OK&lt;/STRONG&gt; button in the &lt;STRONG&gt;Edit External Link&lt;/STRONG&gt; window will be enabled if you simply enter &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://communities.sas.com/"&gt;http://&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;, but the resulting link will not work reliable for all supported browsers and after saving the report multiple times.&amp;nbsp; Here is a link to the &lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/vaug/67500/HTML/default/viewer.htm#n0avi8j19qgkkun1q5znm94euwlk.htm#p1gwflakwv96j7n1chkso6cz9jqc"&gt;relevant section in the VA 7.1 User’s Guide&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;Lucy, as you pointed out, the sample report based on the Ebola data displays a URL in the list table on the Data Quality / Check section that appears clickable.&amp;nbsp; I looked at that particular report in the report designer and I noticed that the author created a display rule for that column that essentially makes the text blue and underlined if the text contains &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://communities.sas.com/"&gt;http://&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp; This display rule makes it appear as if it would navigate to the URL displayed but alas, it doesn’t.&amp;nbsp; Again, SAS does intend to add full support for this in a future release.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;Rick Styll&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
