SAS VA: how to use column names from uploaded sas dataset in stead of column labels?

Hi,

If you upload a SAS data set that has column labels to SAS VA, SAS VA uses those labels in for example the Data Builder. Is there a general setting in SAS VA to use the column names by default?

Hi there,

SAS VA does not have a setting to use the column names by default, but you can rename these when you're creating an exploration or editing a report. You can do this by right clicking on the variable name and selecting the "Rename" option. This works best when you have just a few columns to rename. Another option is to clean up the labels and names before you load the data into VA.
