&lt;P&gt;normally that should not be the case, but there is one service that might have a hiccup over there. I still consider the webbrowser might have a security issue.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Reason: the Search Interface to SAS Content is the responsible of feeding the Browse functionality on VA.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>New User Unable to See SAS Folders</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There is a new user in the company who has gained access to SAS VA. She can log in to SAS VA but is unable to see &lt;STRONG&gt;SAS Folders&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I check in &lt;EM&gt;SAS Management Console&lt;/EM&gt;, she seems to have the required rights:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://communities.sas.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/4893i402169816434BC1F/image-size/original?v=v2&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="johanna_sas_management_console.PNG" title="johanna_sas_management_console.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She also has access to the SAS Server machine (Run on Windows) and all SAS Home folders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She is, as seen in the above picture, a memeber of &lt;EM&gt;SAS Administrators&lt;/EM&gt; group.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I look at the &lt;EM&gt;Authorization&lt;/EM&gt; properties of SAS Folders In VA, I see that &lt;EM&gt;SAS Adminstrators&lt;/EM&gt; have the right to &lt;STRONG&gt;Administer&lt;/STRONG&gt; the &lt;EM&gt;SAS Folders&lt;/EM&gt; folder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://communities.sas.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/4894i9D3E3012080B523C/image-size/original?v=v2&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="authorization_sas_va.PNG" title="authorization_sas_va.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Another thing I have checked is SAS Folder's Authorization properties in &lt;EM&gt;SAS Management Console&lt;/EM&gt; and SAS Administrators seem to have access there as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://communities.sas.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/4895iCE8681B30C255EF6/image-size/original?v=v2&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="SAS_FOLDERS.PNG" title="SAS_FOLDERS.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But still, the new user sees an empty place when she clicks on &lt;STRONG&gt;Browse&lt;/STRONG&gt; on her SAS VA.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;did your user tried different web browsers? Did you restarted the SAS services since you registered the new user?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Anyhow, there should be error messages somewhere in the logs, found any?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Indeed, Edge is not "close-friend" with SAS yet, but I feel confident it will be when web apps will be 100% HTML5, soon.&lt;/P&gt;
