Well the first thing I would do is check that all SAS Windows Services are running on all 3 SAS VA servers: 1 - Metadata, 2 - VA App Server and 3- VA Mid-Tier.

If there are no issues there I would be inclined to re-boot the servers. Remember the servers need to be started up in the order shown above (reversing the order for shutdowns), assuming they are separate physical servers. If all 3 SAS servers run on one physical server then just re-boot it and all the services should start in the correct order.

Hi. I have recently applied Windows o/s patches and when SAS VA has restarted I am getting the following when I try and log in via the web browser. Has anyone experienced a similar issue.

HTTP Status 500 - The system attempted to find and access a service for interface 'com.sas.svcs.config.client.ConfigurationServiceInterface' for 2 hours and was unsuccessful.
