Parameter passing behaving differently in tablet device and desktop browser

When a report was called from another report by passing parameters in a tablet device(both in android and ios) it gave an error 'the server didnot understand the application request for data'.

The 2 reports use 2 different data sources.

But the same error is not present in desktop web browser and it works fine.

SAS Version - 6.4

SAS Mobile BI version - 7.33

This could be a long shot, but by any chance are you running SAS Mobile BI on your tablet device in Off-Line Mode, i.e. not connected to remote SAS VA Server? Perhaps that is issue. SAS Support now has a published document regarding what should work vs. not work when running SAS Mobile BI on your tablet device in Off-Line Mode:

You also mentioned you are running SAS VA v6.4 (SAS VA has gone through versions 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 since then).

I wonder if that could be part of the issue as well?

Given you are getting errors anyway, have you called into your local SAS Tech Support #?
