Text Field Changes from LC to UC between SAS EG & Upload to SAS VA

Hi Forum,

I have a project created in SAS EG 7.1 running on Windows 7 & I have the States in Upper case (UC). When I upload the table Lasr Public folder, I find the States values have changed to a variety of Upper & lower Case combinations.

Does anyone know what can cause this?

Hi Again,

I haven't been able to discover why the data changed between EG & VA but I did notice there were some values in my data that were LC. I can't explain the changes when I uploaded to VA but as a workaround, I used the 'UPCASE' Function in EG for the field & the fileds are now as I need them.
