I wanted to know if I can directly import shapefile in SAS Visual Analytics? If not, what is the work around?

Hi Sanjay,

Unfortunately, adding custom map boundaries is not currently supported in SAS VA.

Many customers have expressed their interest in this feature, so we hope to add it in a future release.

Hi,

you cannot import directly into VA by using its GUI. However, you can use PROC MAPIMPORT. Attached is a helpful guide that I used to import some shape files and make them available in VA.
