Hi all!

Our client ask out team to develop "something" that allows them to export VA report results in a csv file, not on their PC, but on SAS server.

We mean: they want running a report then, if there are problems or mistakes, they want pressing a button on VA report and generating a spool in a csv file, on SAS server.

Moreover, this file should have been saved in a pre-defined directory and with a pre-defined naming convention (<data_type>_<timestamp>.csv).

How can we get this result? If it is possible...

Is that some API we can call directly from VA report or inserting a text-box linked with a procedure which invoke it?

We are quite new in SAS and till now we don't use SAS Programming...

Thanks a lot in advance

Not sure if that will be the solution for your problem. but you can link a external stored to your report and invoke that stored as and when required from your report.

let me know if that helps.
