Would love to see something like this to promote wider adoption of SAS Visual Analytics

Hi all,

This is not a question rather it's a plea to have the SAS Visual Analytics Developers Advocates (if there are still any) to post videos similar to this Tableau Promoting Video Dashed Lines in Tableau: An 8-Chart Guide (Note: Andy Kriebel has tons of these promotion videos)

I could be wrong, but contents like this is somewhat lacking in our SAS Visual Analytics user community. I would love to be corrected though.

Beside the occasional blogs, there is very little quick "How To ...." videos to explore!

Even the Video Tutorials related to SAS Visual Analytics, the majority of them are related to versions prior to the latest on SAS 9 (VA 7.5) , while the on SAS Viya videos are focused on What's New, rather than How To....

Hope this resonate and gets to right folks in R&D

Hi! Falko here from R&D 😉 Just quickly adding a note, that we do read community posts and are always open for any suggestions of course. I do agree - we could do more around tutorials and how-to videos. Such hands-on short videos are so much more useful for users than reading long documentation! I will definitively feed back your comment and hopefully we can work on adding more content here soon.

I should point out - that many of our current tutorials are also available in our YouTube SASUsers channel https://www.youtube.com/@SASUsers - while not just focusing on SAS Visual Analytics - it covers tons of interesting content. Thank you for the videos links, they are all great, and despite my current subscription to the following SAS YouTube channels

It feels their contents don't get enough exposure/mention within the user community, or maybe there are not enough content creators on the internet to promote the capabilities of the software when compared to other competitor products.

Granted - the Access to "Commercial vs. Open-Source" software is major factor at play here, but that shouldn't limit the production of such promotional contents, after all, SAS Institute still offers 14 days trial for SAS Viya , and has Free SAS Viya for Learners.

If Viya for Learners is a "Frozen Version" of SAS Viya, then it could be considered as disadvantage especially when comparing it to Tableau Public and it's periodically upgraded versions.
