Prompt for use to select fiscal, quarterly, or monthly view

Good day, SAS VA guru's.

I want to provide the option for users to view trends at either the fiscal, quarterly, or monthly level ((noting that SAS does not recognize our fiscal year (Apr 01 - Mar 31) and associated quarters)). Based on the user selection, the graph would display annual, quarterly,, or monthly trends. Please help!

Hello,

What you can do is add a control to your report that sets the value of a parameter, and then create a calculated item that returns a different column based on the value of the parameter using IF/ELSE logic.

Essentially, "if parameter equals Month, return Month; else if parameter equals Quarter return Quarter" and so on.
