Hello,

Do you know what version of VA your training session is using?

Network metrics like centrality were added a few years ago in VA 8.3. You must assign these metrics to either the Size or the Color data role on the Roles pane.

Are you able to maximize your network object and see the details table below the object? I believe that feature should be available in any version of VA, although the icon might be different.

Sam

To see the version of VA, look for an "About" menu selection. In newer releases, this is located on the user menu at the top right. On older releases it should be on the Help menu.

You can find a description of the metrics here:
https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/vacdc/8.3/vaobj/n0kcvb9vm0kd1sn1b199uu8hgq1w.htm#n0zuutt5v6onehn1uuszwsvrpyl9

In a recent release we changed the metrics a little bit:
https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/vacdc/v_007/vaobj/n0kcvb9vm0kd1sn1b199uu8hgq1w.htm#n0zuutt5v6onehn1uuszwsvrpyl9
