Generate Alerts in SAS Viya Dashboards

Hey folks,

I'm working on SAS Viya Platform in which I want to make alerts with the Dashboards. Can anyone able to tell me how can i generate alerts in SAS Viya with the dashboards that can send alerts via email to the authorized person automatically .

Hi there

No doubt you can create Alerts in SAS Viya by using rules option in SAS Viya Visual Analytics. But it depends on what types of alerts you want to create ( I mean based on numeric value or rules like if-else conditions) and just want clear that when you say SAS Viya Dashboards, what do you mean by this.

Because we are using SAS VA to build reports and SAS report viewer to see them in SAS Viya.
